NÍCOLO MENESES 

Nícolo Meneses is a narrative director from Cali, Colombia who seeks to explore "the beauty within human chaos." His work aims to create impactful images that reflect our humanity. 

Nícolo studied music at the Conservatory of Bellas Artes (Cali), an experience that has significantly influenced the importance he places on sound as well as his search for new narratives based on music. For Nícolo, audiovisual media is not only a form of artistic expression but also a space conducive to pedagogical and social processes. This is why he has taught several film workshops for children and always seeks to involve new creators in his projects.

Nícolo is the founder of Cine Café, a collective of Colombian filmmakers and film lovers alike that gather to carry on tradition of past and present cinema.
